Make A Wish!

Stephanie, Mom and I were on the way home from Caliche's, an ice cream place, when we heard something on the radio. There was going to be a meteor shower late that night, and early morning, along with the next night and morning. Steph and I decided we would have a marathon of Harry Potter, the lego game on X-box 360. So it finally came time, and we played for who knows how long. Eventually at around 12 - 12:30 we went outside and looked at the stars.
They were truly amazing! If you looked straight up for a while, it felt just like you were in a science museum looking at the ceiling of stars. Exept for the fact that the fence next to you was so low and easy to jump over, and the feeling somebody would, and attack us. But other than that, it was so calm. The greatest thing happened when Steph sang 'Twinkle Twinkle little Star'. Right when she finished, a large one went through the sky. Then both of us sang it, and almost right after... I saw about 10 in a row. They obviously slowed down, then I tried singing the song by myself. I didn't get a star, I got a bee, nearly landing on my ear. After this horrifying event, we kept on saying, just one more! More than five shot through the sky after we sang the song again, and Steph said "What a way to end the night" I told her 'Just one more!' So we stayed, and waited, and waited. We tried calling Tiffani to see if SHE could see them at the other half of the world, but she didn't answer. After o-so-much waiting, I was about to tell Steph that we should just go inside, then the biggest, longest one I have ever seen in my whole life floated through the sky for a little more than a second. It was a great way to end the night. Thanks Steph!
